John Philip Mason has been providing real estate related services since 1985 and is both a New York State Licensed Associate Broker and a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser. Mr. Mason recently spent two years as a senior appraiser at one of Manhattan's most internationally recognized appraisal firms. Mr. Mason also served over three years as the residential manager and technical director at one of Westchester's most prestigious appraisal firms. Mr. Mason's real estate experience includes markets located throughout New York City and the lower Hudson Valley Region (Columbia, Dutchess, Nassau, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Suffolk, Westchester and Ulster Counties).

Mr. Mason has performed real estate services in connection with purchasing, selling, investing, lending, relocation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, asset valuation, share allocation, tax grievance, divorce, trust, and estate matters. Mr. Mason has been admitted as an expert witness at various venues of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. His clients include international and domestic lending institutions, law firms, consulting firms, real estate investment firms, government agencies and individuals.

Mr. Mason has accumulated several hundred hours of certified real estate education pertaining to such matters as real estate sales, residential construction, vacant land analysis, issues of highest and best use, ad valorem tax assessment, regression analysis, litigation valuation, conservation easements, and much more. Mr. Mason has taught innovative appraisal and sales seminars at the Houlihan Lawrence training center. His ongoing commitment to education results in his understanding of the complex and rapid changes taking place regarding legal and economic issues, and their impact on real estate. His combined experience and education allow him to serve his clients with the degree of knowledge, experience and expertise they deserve.
